  7. I think if you list the awards you received it would make the graphs unnecessary. How many people win a Gold Medal for workplace excellence and is named the Most Valuable Peer? Not many!

  8. I have a 2019 Mercedes AMG E53, with basically the same specs, and when I test it myself, 0-60 takes more than five seconds. Mercedes just knows how to make itself look sporty.

  9. Let us be a little bit honest here. You can gather that information on how you compare to your pears easily at school. But gathering information about how much you drive up sales or reduce the load of a sales team is really really hard to measure and actually prove / quantify. Grades are part of school and they are given by some system that is not affected by your pears, they can have horrible scores and you can still score high.

What if the sales team you create the tools for for example require education related to the tool you have created? Or require some time using the tool that previously they used to achieve basically the same way, but it is just little bit nicer and maybe more secure? How do you measure that you've increased security? You actually cannot measure these things if you don't have a lot of datapoints from your work. Even if you had a lot of datapoints it would not be comparable to any other team where the sales team is maybe already more efficient or nimble, but the internal tool creator there has only been lazing around. He would seem more effective at his job compared to you if in the same time he was there the sales team had a larger output.

Any how I see that these kinds of percentual numbers are similarly just bs/fluff that nobody cares about, cause you are missing a base case. Maybe if the sales team had like basically no support before that and you suddenly support them they might have a huge boost in efficiency. But was it you who did it or was it just that they just needed an extra hand from anyone.

I wish I had a clearer cause and effect example. I generally agree with the show results instead of just say you did something, but doing something is sometimes more honest.
