So I can have a stocks and shares isa with vanguard and another one with InvestEngine and pay into both in the same financial year, as long as they opened in different financial years and I stay under the 20000 cap in total?
Hi I have a question. If I have a Lifetime ISA which I’m putting the max £4k per year (to get the 25% gov match for first time property buyers)… does that limit the amount I can put into my Stocks & Shares ISA?
I’ve had my LISA open for a few years and it’s with a different provider, whereas the Stocks & Shares ISA has been opened in the last week.
What are the implications of having both accounts if I’m putting in £4k to my LISA annually?
Thanks for your help, love your content.
Just signed up to my first stocks and shares isa on InvestEngine and wondering if anyone has any advice on Howmuch I should have on my portfolio to start? Currently have about 5 ETFs with different percentages and think that’s a good start for a while?

Building wealth involves developing good habits like regularly putting money away in intervals for solid investments. Instead of trying to predict and prognosticate the stability of the market and precisely when the change is going to happen, a better strategy is simply having a portfolio that’s well prepared for any eventually, that’s how some folks' been averaging 150K every 7week these past 4months according to Bloomberg.
This was very helpful!
So it over 4 years you had £80k sat in a stocks and shares ISA, does that mean each year you could take out the interest tax free for example? And if so is there a limit to what you can take out if you aren’t putting £20k actually in each year but you have more than that as a total?
I have opened an S&S ISA account with vanguard but I haven't invested anythjng yet. I would like to start another one with InvestEngine this year. Am I allowed to do by cancelling Vanguard account? Please help.
As a novice, I reached out to an expert trader who have been my mentor for the past three months and he is the best trader I have ever come across and his trading software stands out among all. you can reach him out too
If you reinvest the dividends in an ISA account does that mean they count towards the annual allowance? For example if your dividend payments are 100£ per month which are getting reinvested you should have in mind that your allowance will become 20.000-1.200=18.800?
This was not helpful at all in the slightest .. how do I invest the money ?
Hi Tom, I have a cash ISA and a stocks and shares ISA (opened in different tax years), so am I correct in thinking that I can deposit into both in the same year without having any deductions from the tax man?
So can you make money on investments in an invest isa account and not pay tax or need to do a self assessment even of you earn full time wages? At what point would you need to declare gains?
It's okay if they don't agree with this type of investing, many of us do agree. I have 20 positions in high growth stocks. I'm getting 15 dividend pay checks, however I'm up 125 % this year. About $650k this yr, good dividend paying portfolio, although I use an F.A so buy as much as you can and wait for the rebound. Only the brave gets rewarded in these times!
I opened up a cash isa in Feb 2023. Does that mean I can open a stocks and shares isa now in November 2023 as its a new tax year? Or do I wait till Feb 2024. How do I best split 20k over the different isa"s? Great video thanks
Is a SIPP a stocks and shares ISA?
Hi, I’m new here. Excellent video. Thanks!
Hi, what's the best platform for if I grow my dividend portfolio into the millions overtime.
Is the money protected? Or do I put into a ISA within the platform?

Hi Tom. Great Video. Please advise on the following if possible, What's the process for closing down your ISA, and how do you account for any gains you may have on your chosen investments? I understand there ISA acts as a 'wrapper', but how do you account for it. Thanks
