I thought for the strike price, anything above that strike price would be considered “IN THE MONEY” since youre past your projected strike price

Y’all never explain how the pay out go. If I pay $1,000 for 1 contract at a $960 call and the stock reach $972 at my contract expiration. How much money do I make???? Do I get all 100 shares at $960??? Or do I just get a lil extra few dollars?
