I have both in my portfolio. 2 good income ETFs.
Had recently learned that a couple of brokerages here in the US would not even allow SPYI in an IRA. That’s crazy IMHO. Regardless, SPYI will be on my buy list.
I actually have SPYI in my traditional IRA, I had JEPI in my brokerage about a year ago but sold it. These are both great funds!!
I own both ! JEPI doing better but have it for more time. Did you do the comparison of JEPI vs JEPQ?
Big difference is tax treatment. 60% of spyi divs are counted as long term cap gains. This is typically favorable. That’s not shown in charts.
FYI: fepi got added to m1 finance, just waiting for qdte
Jepi has been a bust for me I bought in the hype during 2021, did three quarterly bulk buys starting in April around 56is dollars to almost 61 could be 62, then it dropped, I stopped contributing to it in 2022, dividend has poor results, if you bought in low congrats, as for me I’m still under water with this fund, if it ever gets over 58dollars I’m getting out, and buying into Spyi.

SPYI is a better fund and can do more in a down market and has much better tax treatment so when your owning thousands of shares like I am thats when yourlll care more about that SPYI and QQQI to the moon! SPY Neos has figured out the nav erosion issues that yieldmax struggles with plus Neos trades all of Kurv's funds too so NFLP and AMZP to the MoON!!!!
