  1. Renewable energy is very important for Growth of India . If we use our full potential and produce so much electricity than, it will increases our industrial growth . It makes India become World's number one country and production hub . we rule the world . Jai hind🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳

  2. Trust CNBC to turn EVERY news story about India, even a positive one like its effort to go renewable into a criticism of India. Amazing level of hypocrisy, when US’s best mate Germany is Re-opening its coal plants due to the war in Ukraine !!! 👏👏👏

  3. The westerners are so wicked. They use data only if it suits them. When economic or progress issue per capita data is shown(to show very less growth) but when Pollution crime or violence has to be shown they show the collective data.🤡 No wonder these are called Pres*titute media

  4. 1. Population= 1.42 billion (largest)
    2. CO2 emissions= 3rd largest
    3. Historical emissions= 7th
    4. Percapita CO2 emission= 170th
    5. Renewable energy= 48% of total energy production (target of 50% by 2030 as per Paris Climate agreement)
    6. India is the only G-20 country which is in track to achieve Paris Climate agreement goals by 2030.

  5. We met with the conditions of the Paris agreement even surpassed the capacity of renewables targetted what have the western countries done? How much are their per capita green house emissions?

  6. DW is BBC lite, thanks for reporting on India but shows mostly bad stuff about india. Trying to create a negative narrative of india online, but guess what truth always wins. And you won’t be able to spread lies beyond a certain point.

  7. This news is more misinformation than information… pls note india doesn’t take hydro into renewable category but it’s takes only small hydro ( less than 25mw)..in renewable.. if we consider large hydro into renewable mix ( as most countries do) then our renewable energy mix is well on target ( 170 GW achieved against a target of 175GW)

  8. Maybe list the countries who have caused most pollution per capita till date and I can assure you India will be nowhere in the list, how is getting natural gas from Russia(Europe’s enemy) going? Lol

  9. I work in Germany and some Germans are racist. But I don't care because they need excellent talent like us. Soon INDIA to be 3rd largest economy by 2030 as said by IMF and world bank. But not all germans are racist some are good too. But emotionless and less hospitable.

  10. Why solar powered system has to be so expensive globally. The entire world is aiming at reducing carbon , going green and providing clean energy . The SDG Goal aim is by 2030, ensure universal access to affordable, reliable and modern energy services. If the people cant afford the off grid system the goal will not be met. interim we all should buy solar fans, solar tv, solar radios, solar chargers, solar indoor and outdoor lights, and etc. ❤❤❤❤❤India

  11. This man charu seems to be stooge of western media. India does not come even close as for emission is concerned or historical emission. Western media take pleasure from showing Indias problems.
