  1. As a adult who never learned how to budget, this was a really great video to show me the basics. Like, everything sounds so simple, but seeing you do this made everything connect.

  2. This video was cool. My Personal Finance class brought me here. I'm going to subscribe! I already do this with this exact type of book. However, I did learn a tip… budget all the way down to $0. Good thing it's the first of June, so I will do that now! Thank you! πŸ™‚

  3. The annoying thing is I don't get played on the same day each month. For example of I'm payed on the 15th one month I'll be later on the 13th on the next and so on

  4. I definitely need to do my budget realistically in great detail so I know what to expect. I need to stop spending hundreds of dollars on take out food and junk food at cvs so I don't be broke and stressed out every month. Its time to make wiser decisions and handle my stress eating in a much more helpful way with therapy and practice relaxation meditation/yoga techniques.

  5. Thank you so much. I have to say with all the budgeting videos, that I've seen, yours is the simplest my wife and I have ever seen. It's Sunday which is basically my Friday. We will start to create a budget tomorrow and implement the simple steps that you have in your video. Again thank you so much. πŸ‘

  6. Adapt to a lifestyle, be thrifty, set a budget, save money, and make investments to live within your means. I benefited from this as a six-figure income. With this strategy, my retirement savings have increased by almost $1 million.

  7. Its crazy to admit but I have NEVER lived on a budget and finally realized (while watching your video) why when I get out of debt, I get right back into debt! so simple! Thank you!

  8. I definitely love the Dave Ramsey cash envelope system! I just got 3 dollar tree pocket organizers for the cash. It's really good for people who need visual systems to function best. The biggest downside by far is handling credit card purchases (I'm sure Dave would say cut up the credit card, but we prefer to have it and treat it with the respect of a debit card). Basically I've tried to establish the habit of transferring the cash amount to the "Bank" tab immediately after using the card, but I keep my receipts for the credit purchases until I do that.
Other than that, this is pretty much exactly how we write up the monthly budget!

  9. I thought about this. And then I though… nah, I have money at the end of every month and savings are growing. I'm alright. If I can't make my savings, I know the budget is amiss. Since I am self employed, it's more important I track & increase my earnings. But, on the other hand, I want to know if I can afford a big purchase… hmm.

  10. Thank you so much for this. I have been saying for so long now, that I just need to find a very SIMPLE Personal Budget Plan and you have just helped me toπŸ™ŒπŸΎπŸ’ƒπŸ»πŸ™πŸΎπŸ™πŸΎ
