  1. I'm 54 and my wife and I are VERY worried about our future, gas and food prices rising daily. We have had our savings dwindle with the cost of living into the stratosphere, and we are finding it impossible to replace them. We can get by, but can't seem to get ahead. My condolences to anyone retiring in this crisis, 30 years nonstop just for a crooked system to take all you worked for.

  2. Saving typically results in you earning a lower return but with virtually no risk. In contrast, investing allows you the opportunity to earn a higher return, but you take on the risk of loss in order to do so.

  3. This video is so out of touch. We are living in a time where these budgeting and saving tips no longer apply. The goal is to be able to literally stay alive. Maintain some kind of shelter, heat that shelter, have enough to eat. Try to stay healthy enough to avoid the hospital. But how do you do that when you're killing yourself trying to do all the other stuff while making some rich guy even richer?

  4. I have stopped cooking pasta in a pan. I heat the same amount of water in a frying pan. More surface exposed to heat and quicker heating time. Always always use a lid. Put the salt in after the water starts simmering. No need for a rolling boil. The salt delays the water reaching boiling point. Tons of tiny things that all add up.

  5. Get an allotment grow own veg . Open fire place up if possible lots of free wood about . Buy yellow sticker food . Make a batch of food in slow cooker put into boxes put in freezer . Buy a fire stick for movies . Bike to work . Make your own wine beer . Buy items from car boots clothes from charity shops โ€ฆ ๐Ÿ˜‚

  6. Highly recommend reading/listening to the barefoot investor. Thereโ€™s also one for kids. Really down to earth and breaks things down in simple steps ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿป

It is so nice to see a nice and lovley person like you๐Ÿ˜Š because in my mind frugal people are always grey and not lovley and they are not smileying . I never ever wanted to be like them catching after evrey penny and never have fun or nice clothing and nice things. That's the pictur in my head , and i think that's the key, to have enoug money,i have to turn the picture โคโค i hope you undorstand what i mean๐Ÿ˜… . Thank you to helping me create a new picture . ๐Ÿ˜Šsorry of my english , if it's not correct , i'am from austria , vorarlberg ,bregenzerwald.โคโค

  8. What are your thoughts on buy now pay later? I try to only have one thing at a time that Iโ€™m paying off so itโ€™s not a bunch of payments coming out.

  9. From my perspective – if one is in DEBT, THERE IS NO eating out, drinks after work, NO NOTHING. Owing money CAUSES DEPRESSION!!
