I'm planning to start a Private Limited Realty Company and name has already been reserved for that. Here my idea is to build a 5 star hotel, including land, with the help of foreign investment in the form of Equity based investment in my proposed Company. I may offer Equity in my Company to foreign investors upto 49%. It may be 10% or 20% or 25% or upto 49%, but in any case more than 50% shares will be retained my me. I want to know whether it is allowed as per rules and regulations of India or not? Can you please clarify this?
