I’m learning so much from you! More than I have about finances in all my 34 years!! Thank you 😊
Amazing video! Thank you!
This was so incredibly helpful!
This video is awesome!! I’m 18 and I haven’t been making the wisest investments with my money recently, this is super helpful. 💪🔥
I think you should focus on your bills first and then everything else, cuz if I would "pay myself first" then I would have no money for rent.
This was a great video Rose just one question since I’m self-employed but I do not own a business since I’m a freelancer when I open a 401(k) still or can I just put that money into a Roth IRA first thank you
I’ve considered ally but I’ve heard not so good things about them.
Nice video, thanks! How much money do you recommend to have on your emergency fund?
Budget for adhd to help balance the budget cost. ? Android app free .?
Great content thank you.
looks good, Rose, I like it!
Hi Rose, even though this video is 3 yrs old, is this still what you’d recommend today regarding the 8 places to put your money?

I never got it. Thank you for this!
Why 401k comes first before Roth IRA?
Nice
i m so impress with your talent
this was great! thank you!
Rose, you are my inspiration! I have always been bad with money because it stresses me out, but after watching some of your videos where in one video you said you can do it as an immigrant, we should too. I am just summarizing your words. So that motivated me to do well. I wish I could be well off and retire early. I'm 37-year-old and I'm clueless about finances. I live in Canada so I always have to look up the equivalent of the things you mention in your video. Your videos are simply put and love your warmth and cordiality. 🥰🥰🥰🐭
notes for me,
-switch to fidelity checking bank account
-building an emergency fund
-around 1,000 emergency fund
– monthly transfer to saving account
– put money in an ira after building up emergency fund
-a lot of tax savings
fidelity and vanguard is a good place to start

Thank you for your very well-structured video. The depth of how to go about each category really made it easier for me to understand & encourage me to start slowly.
I'm 25 & I've wanted to invest in a really long time & I hope I'm able to do so (even small) in 2024. It's been tough bc I live on my own, but struggling to pay rent on time, let alone any other necessities I may need through out the month. I'm living paycheck to paycheck & I want to be able to make additional income so I can have some wiggle room to invest, or maybe more importantly to pay off my student debt. I'm full time at my job & above minimum wage in my state, yet I still feel so behind & not making enough to live comfortably. I get so discouraged to continue on with life bc I'm constantly worried about not having enough for my absolute needs.
Your videos have been extremely helpful & motivating. I listen on my way to work so I can find rhyme & reason as to why I'm still holding on. So thank you. I hope you know you're making a difference in my life by feeding not just me, but everyone who searches for videos like this, useful & critical knowledge that should be standard to learn back in high school. Keep it up. Definitely subscribed.
much love from cali 🫶🏼
Thank you Rose For tis Amazing Budgeting video Thank you
Totally off topic. You are beautiful. But no very great video and insight. I’ve always loved the term pay yourself first. Getting into finances a year ago I learned to take a tenth of what I made and put it aside. Then I started adding all of this into play. And can honestly say I’ve saved a lot more money. Thank you for this video, it was great ! And can’t wait to see what the future looks like in the next five years after following this gameplan💪🏾
I appreciate this great information. Thank you ❤
Love the layout of the video and the explanations! The only questions I have- where would debt payoff payments come in? Paying off hospital bills, personal loans, etc? After you pay "needs" such as rent, gas, etc and before short term savings?
Unfortunately, in Quebec, we have no Fidelity. We do have is the largest Credit Union in the World, the Desjardins Movement, which has no service fee on their chequing accounts.
There's a great book called "Do you really need it?" by Pier-Yves McSween. I recommend reading it and not only covers what this lady says but dives into deeper waters on how to leave within your means.
