How I Built My New 2022 Desk Setup for Investing! | Productivity Workspace | Onlyinvesting.info

This is an overview of how I built my productivity desk setup for 2022. I started from a completely empty room and show how I added all the pieces together as they arrived from different suppliers. As I plan to mostly use my desk for productivity and researching for investing purposes, I wanted a completely different feel to conventional desks. In particular, a portrait monitor is important to me which is the main standout when people see my desk.

Also making youtube videos is an important part of my day as well, so items like a microphone boom arm and smart RGB lighting are also neccessary. Of course this is still a work in process and I will defintely most updates as other long lead time items arrive. (Waiting for my acoustic foam!)

None of the items were sent to me and I purchased all items by myself. I’ve linked the items below if you are interested in purchasing anything for yourself. 3 items are affiliate links and marked clearly for transparency.

  1. I too like how you showcased cheaper alternatives contrary to most. Ergonofis look amazing without a doubt but the price is a big no no. And, the fact you build your own is both admirable and inspirational — especially for people who either don't have the money or don't want to spent as much. Well done.

  2. amazing set up mate. one thing that drawn me into the video was the screen saver of a digital clock. how do u make the set up for this. I am curious. thank you in advance

  3. only one question i will really appreciate the answer for is how reliable is that frame that moves up and down? I got a fixed desk that's robust they dont make them this strong anymore all i will like to do is just add a bottom frame but only if its really strong enough to support about 300lbs this is what im looking for to im far lighter than that but I saw desks costing thousands that support this weight. I got a Anthro desk and you know the quality im talking about. At the time standing desks wasn't available for my 60inch.

  4. Monitor setup makes no sense to me. You don't need a giant curved monitor to look at a graph, let alone a second monitor (in portrait mode???) to barely fit a paper to read with a twisted neck. Also whats up with the riser? Double monitor arms frees the desk up. I like the color/material combinations though.

  5. I have my monitor connected same like yours, with a vertical monitor setup alongside. In the display settings ive set it up. However how do I set it up so that on the smaller vertical monitor I can click on example Internet explorer browser and it opens on the Vertical monitor (It keeps opening on the main larger 40" monitor)…At the moment whatever I open on the vertical monitor it opens directly onto the Main Monitor and keep having to drag the browser, files etc across…
