If you would have invested roughly Rs70-75 in Amazon back in 1997, that investment would have become ~ Rs. 84 Lakh today.

But most of the retail investors do not have the patience to keep investing for such a long time.

What you need is a System to invest. And that is exactly what SIP is.

Why should you make your own SIP plan and HOW to do SIPs?

Watch the video to get all your answers 🙂

  2. Namaste

We must review the quaterly performance of all the long term stocks that we are invested in.

This is because a bad performance can lead to sharp price fall and we can consider to sell after due review.

    Thanks.

  3. I'm not even kidding when I say that the market crash and high inflation have me really stressed out and worried about retirement. I've been in the red for a while now and although people say these crisis has it perks, I'm losing my mind but I get it, Investing is a long-term game, so I try to focus on the long term.

  4. Pls tell me know how to allocate 50k a month in an SIP portfolio. I am 56 years old. Should I go to pick up best performing and the best rated stocks in large cap ( 30%), Flexi Cap ( 30%), Midcap (20%), 10% in Small Cap and 10% in Large & Mid Cap stock. Pls advise.

Also pls advise the tech stocks are not performing well since last one year. Can you pls give a time line when these stocks will start performing again? Should I sell the tech stocks? They are giving me the negative returns in last one year. Pl advise.

  5. Great Video but a few points to Note. Bharti Airtel isn't a bad stock because of its high debt, it certainly is a red flag but this problem stems from the industry that it is in aswell. Telecom is one of the most volatile sectors that exists and that is because of extremely high levels of Capex and capital requirement which more often than not entails more debt, anytime this sector has more than 2 players (Anything above an Oligopoly) the margins drastically reduce and the companies take massive hits, especially with the entrance of players like Reliance in the telecom space now the price war definitely also created a massive dent for years. Take Aviation that is just as troublesome a sector to invest in, you would see the same thing with SpiceJet, 10 years with no return scenarios. While these sectors are definitely not my preference to invest in either these companies function well to some degree.

  6. I used to think every investor lose out during inflation, meanwhile, some make millions. I also thought everybody went out of business during the Great Depression, but some went into business. The bottom line, there's always depression for some and profit for others, it all starts with having the right mindset. That said, I've set asides $250k to invest for the future, unfortunately, I'm a complete noob.

  7. Everyone has been preaching "buy now, stocks are at a discount" but I've been buying stocks since the beginning of the year and yet nothing's changed, but I've been reading articles of people still in the same market pulling off over 350k in just a couple months, what am i doing wrong?

  10. Hi Akshat,
Thank you for the video. It was lot more informative. A quick question. Suppose I am investing in an IT company- lets say Amazon as SIP month by month in their stocks – say Rs 1000. Now, after a year or so this becomes Rs 13000 (with the profit). Now, if I see, other IT stock say Microsoft going up. How shall I re-invest the amount (Rs 13000). Month by month investing 13,000 is not possible. How do I segment the amount to Rs 1000 again and re-invest?

  11. Inadvertently means accidentally/without intending to.

As per Standard 6(A), CFA Institute members and candidates must take steps to avoid conflicts, and if they occur *inadvertently*, must report them promptly so that the employer and member/candidate can resolve them as quickly as possible.

  12. So much needed Video ❤

  14. I just sold a property in Portland and I'm thinking to put the cash in stocks, I know everyone is saying its ripe enough, but Is this a good time to buy stocks? How long until a full recovery? How are other people in the same markt raking in over $200k gains with months, I'm really just confused at this point.

  15. Hi Akshat, thanks for the amazing video. Do you know if someone is investing SIP through a bank and if tomorrow the bank goes bankrupt, will we get our money back? Example: HDFC small cap, HDFC mid cap and HDFC larger cap so all are tied to HDFC
