  1. I don’t care what anybody says but money will make me happy. It’s insane and people say that it doesn’t make a person happy it might not show every hole in your life but I don’t know a person that’s that depressed when they’re on a beach and have no worries about the next rent payment. Thumbs down for this one.

  2. It’s impossible To get out of debt , the interest eats up everything I pay and I pay more than minimums. Been in debt since I was 18 and I’m 46 and I’ve gotten this guys book before . Nothing saved and no 401k… I make all my payments but I for the day when I don’t have a bill. I guess that’s when I’ll be in my coffin

  3. Mostly good advice but their is such a thing as good debt. Also debit cards are not as safe as credit cards and they don't give you rewards. I pay off my credit card in full each month and make $65 a month just doing my normal spending.

  4. I began my investment journey at the age of 27, primarily through hard work and dedication. I'm to share that my passive income exceeded $100k in a single month for the first time. This success reinforces the importance of the advice mentioned earlier it is not about achieving quick wealth, but rather ensuring long-term financial prosperity

  5. Expectations for 2024 is that markets starts to broaden out more, with the rates cut holding steady, i have a couple of questions….can I safely invest $220k in the markets? What should I do differently?

  6. I disagree with not having credit cards IF you pay them in full every month. That is NOT debt… it is smart to get the miles/cash/rewards! But, you can't advise that to American's because of the lack of self control that the vast majority have. SO SAD! Also, credit cards give you MUCH better financial protection if you are hacked. I have reaped THOUSANDS of dollars from rewards with both business expenses and personal expenses over the past 35 years and have never once paid a dime in interest.

  7. Agree 100% with everything you said. Will teach it to my children, hope they will really listen.
They did not have good examples growing up.
Their parents come from struggling low income families, for generations. Pay check to pay check, just to survive, eat. Never inherited anything, no houses, land, savings or businesses.
That's how we grew up and started life – survival mode. Never thought of any more. Wasn't part of our world.
54 now. Compulsory retirement is at 60 for government employee in our country.
Less than six years to go, mountain of debt, no assets (no house, renting), no savings. No investments (every cent ever just went to just get the basics). Eldest child is autistic and at 24 still in the house and very little chance of employment or independence.
So really too late to change the course of our ship now. Can only trust in the Lord's kindness and grace.
So all this about money and success is wonderful to hear, but has a painful sting when it's too late for you.
May the next generations break free from the slavery mindset of this debt and consumerism society trap.

  8. Dave Ramsey's life advise in a nutshell, work 3 jobs, don't but anything that's not food, and only enough food where you won't die and then when you're 77, you can retire and just maybe buy a tv. Dude's a joke. Only worth while tips he has are for people that are already rich.

  9. First he says more money will amplify problems like your marriage. Then after losing his fortune he mentions his marriage is hanging on by a thread due to money problems. Which is it dude?
