I love this series I shared in with my family and friends. Are you a fan of dividend stocks? If so which ones do you like? Lol I feel like I’m in a business class in a good way great information I wrote notes 📝
One trick I found is to equate the price of a product to hours worked. For example: Say you make $20 per hour. If you want to purchase something that costs $40, you're effectively trading 2 hours of your life for that product. If you're purchasing Starbucks 3 times per day, that's like $25 per day. Multiply that by 7 (if you purchase on weekends) and 5 (if you don't) to get $175 and $125. That's 8 and 3/4 hours (over a day's work if you work 8 hours per day) for 7 days a week of Starbucks and 6 1/4 hours (almost a day's worth of work if you work 8 hours) for 5 days a week. Is it really worth a day of putting up with all the BS you do at work (plus the pain in the ass of going to Starbucks and standing in line so often) for that much coffee per week?
Whenever I have money, I try to at least save up or not Spend it all in one day or a week and I make sure to Only eat fast food on weekends plus I excersise and eat healthy by eating house food. Also love your speakdoms and hope you have a Awesome Week
Here is a another tip. If you have a job or anything that someone gives you tips or money or anything, save it don’t spend it. Don’t save it in the bank. Literally put it away somewhere and forgot about it. Don’t spend it ever. Think about it, if the tip wasn’t given to you then you wouldn’t have it. It adds up fast.
Ay just a side note geekdom, I got suspicious when you mentioned how "bad" sugar is (sugar isn't "bad" unless you're diabetic), then heard you mention keto. Keto is essentially a scam and there is no empirical evidence that keto is beneficial for your health in any way. Its purely a marketing gimmick. Probably nothing inherently wrong with it other than slightly decreased exercise performance. But none the less its often used to sell gimmicky supplements or diet plans that offer 0 benefit.
Summer of 2019, P5 was on sale on the PSN store and for $20 (it was originally $60 I believe here in Canada). My only regret, was that I was 3 years late but that aside, I LOVE THE HELL OUTTA THAT GAME! It’s been a HUGE life changer for me👌
In my experience, brand clothing doesn't last at all! I bought one pair of "Airforce Ones" when they were in. I got caught in the rain and the color washed right off. They went from dark grey to canvas. Never again!
I've been learning to cook lately to be ready when I'm living on my own, I don't eat out often, I just have my mom's cooking. I dont want to be like my brother just buying fast food For breakfast, lunch, and dinner everyday. That's unhealthy and a real waste of money. I have no interest in buying series X or ps5, I'm perfectly satisfied with my current consoles, hell I still have my og xbox, and ps2. I have very good self control to not buying things I don't need but still I leave my wallet at home on PURPOSE. I only bring it with me when I actually need something. My biggest regret is not saving during my time growing up in school, but since I dont drink, smoke, do weed, drugs, vape, or coffee, it makes up for it in a way, since all that shit is expensive as fuck.
The best investment you can make is in yourself and the people around you. Build yourself up and help elevate the people around you. If everyone did this the world would be much better.
Started out as money talk and ended up cooking like Casanova, great talk bro!
Crypto helps to save money. I rolled the dice instead of a savings and so far am at 68k. Instead of putting 10 here 10 there 20 here 6 there, put in cryptos early. 4 years later, 68k. Savings would've never done this. Its just one way.
How I survived for years living on my own while only working part-time and the occassional odd job for years: budget, budget, budget! Something's not on sale, I don't get it. Even when I need something, I'd try my darnest to wait for a sale or coupon. Need food that isn't on sale? I wouldn't get it, unless I absolutely had too. Typically I stock up a bit when stuff (food) is on sale so then I don't have to worry about running out when it's not on sale. I love my knock off Converse. $50 for shoes? HELL NO! I'll take the $20-$30 shoes when they're on sale for $13-$15. I've owned one pair of name brand (outside of Payless brands) shoes, one pair of sketchers, in my life. They fell apart so fast. and that's why they're the only pair I've owned and probably will own. The only furniture I own that wasn't used prior to my ownership is my fuon frame, one bookshelf (that I bought on sale at Shopko for $10), and my lamps (most of them also being from Shopko). Granted, I really want to own some brand new furniture one day, but hey, it's a goal. And I'll buy it when it's majorly on sale. (Three furniture stores going out of business in my area is killing me. SALES but I have no space to keep furniture so.) Anywho, yeah, budget. Coupons and sales are your friend! Oh and rewards programs, sometimes. I'm in the rewards program for a local grocery store chain up here. I've earned $14 in money that I can apply towards groceries at any time. Actually, I've earned more than that because I've used some of it in the past. My goal now is to safe up enough to get my order for free. I also get speciality coupons only for reward members and some that are taylored (spelling may be off on that) jus for me according to things I buy. So I can get extra discount on food I get regularly ontop of the sale price. And typically, I only use those extra discount when the item is on sale. I rarely go to a sit down restaurant. And I do go out to eat, it's the "value" menu for me! Before Taco Bell's latest price raise and prior to them getting rid of the potato taco, I could get three tacos for under $4. A meal for under $4. Because I'd just get a glass for water or take my food to eat. No, I just drink from the water bottle I bring with me when I eat in my car. Saves a ton of money.
Have you ever made a Speakdom specifically about making friends/a friend group, and finding people to connect with. I’ve noticed there are a lot of videos about anxiety and dating and there might be some aspects in those videos that could apply to my question but is there any video that’s about generally finding and making friends and developing a friend group? If not would you be interested in making one?
Epic! Looking forward to more uploads! You should go and take a look at Promosm! I used it to promote my Instagram and it helped my posts start to trend. It could really help you promote your videos too!!
I think you can some this up it's just discipline. You should spend money on what you like in life but not go overboard.
I'm addicted to shiny cardboard, lol.
$60 Day-One “Inferior” Game
Vs
$20 Patched Game will all DLC 8 months later
Or just GamePass
Delayed gratification WILL create you a better financial future
“I could buy 10 of em if I wanted too”………….
That was a Hard flex😭😭🤣

This is random, but I would love to see hear you talking about Jordan Peterson on this channel.

Nah. I don't care about what brand you have. I am happy that you used your money wisely and rewarded greatly for your patience and discipline.

I probably don't need this but I'll take any tips I can get
These topics are extremely important, glad you turned your life around – very inspiring.
If I ever get over to the States and visit, I will cook you a steak that you would easily pay $25 for in a restaurant.
