  1. I just signed up with Mint. When I enrolled my various accounts it brought in transactions from previous months. I wish to start everything from scratch beginning with February 1st. How can I delete all of the old transactions?

  2. I am in search of a good app. But I'd like to paint a scenario. What if you were to buy a coffee from Starbucks with your debit card from your bank account and as your card swipes you get a ding on your phone. That ding notifies you that you have made a purchase and it would ask you what category you would like to put it. You answer the question and lock your phone and it automatically goes into the category you have created. Does this app offer something like this?

  3. 1:10 At this point you're moving your mouse pointer as if you're reading from the screen, but I don't see what you're saying.

I seem to be experiencing a problem that keeps me from watching past 1 minute 40 seconds. I hope to be back when that is solved.

  4. Any tips on how to get the mint app to refresh more often? I have the app connected to my account and it never updates and never notifies me when I get close to the set limit until the end of the month way after the limit was reached or passed.

  5. Super, super helpful! Excellent video! Would be interested in any future videos of this sort or following your blog or podcast, if available! Thanks so much! God bless all your future endeavors!

  6. What do you do in a situation where you pay for the bill on your credit card and people either venmo you or give you cash? How do account for this, because you may be over the 'food' budget but in reality, you're still on track.

  7. Question: you go to Target and buy items that apply to multiple labels like food, personal Phil, auto maintenance, personnel shared etc all as one bank transaction. How to you label that debit from your account?

  8. Hey just a question….why does the budget say spending in RED $3300.00 when that's not what you spent yet? ALSO why on the left hand side does the budget not add up???? It says $230 spent of $3300…but when I add it up on my calculator it never adds up!! Also in my mint.. I am s oconfused.

  9. Its so sad that America is Financial Naïve, but that's how the system works to make all the money. They show you how to get a credit card to buy stuff you don't need, they show you how to get loans for a vehicle, they show you to get a mortgage loan to buy a house, what they don't show you is to be Financially Smart, why? Interest is what runs this nation and makes the banks, creditors and financers rich

  10. How do i set up payment on individual bills at the same time show payment for my credit card, if i use a single credit card for most of the bills? What is the easiest way to set it up on Mint in this circumstance?

  11. So every transaction from my credit card has to be assigned a category ie food gas medical groceries etc.? Seems cumbersome that I would have to do that every month. Or am I missing something?

  12. Great instructional video, Mint should attach a link for your video especially regarding "Creating the Budget"
If you have the time to reply., can we go back in time? I would like to go back to the beginning of 2019.

  13. I am confused on Super and Sub Categories. As Auto and Auto-gas. Say I assign $50 to Auto-gas. Do I also assign $50 to Auto? Do the subcategories roll up? Would I be double budgeting?

  14. I wonder what does mint.com is doing with all of its users’ complete spending habits. Maybe selling them to a bunch of marketing firms that will bombard them with spams and unnecessary targeted advertising emails

  15. Really great intro! Thanks for this nice clear video. I have been budgeting with Excel for over 20 years, but am just now taking the leap and using an app like Mint.

  16. Is it possible to divide the budget by percentage? I have different sources of income and wanted to budget this way. Is it possible for mint to divide it automatically? Let's say 10% goes to personal, 30% to bills and utilities.. Etc..
