Over the years, I’ve been blessed to have countless positive influences in my life. Their example and their wisdom have shaped me in every way—including my financial practices

Wonderful videos by you sir. U give sound advice
No car, no flights, no entertainment!
Going out for food, alcohol, drugs….etc
So happy to have found your site. Exceptional advice in so many areas. Also Kudos on your video presentation techniques; staying on topic, brief, easy to understand-appreciate you! Thanks!
Never buy a brand new vehicle!
Wonderful tips! However, I read in the newspaper a few years ago of a couple in which the wife used to spend her money for daily expenses while the man's income was being saved…and then they got a divorce. Guess you can figure out what the divorce battle mostly centred on
I bought my car cash. So awesome to do this! It took 5 years to save, denied a lot of extras, but so worth it. Loved point about giving.
How would you handle credit cards?
👍👍
Very sound advice…great video…thank you!
Aint eating out part of socialising and and enjoying a experience
But Joshua, right now Grad students have to put out hundreds of resumé's to find work they don't necessarily want but need…
Love this! ❤️
I believe Joshua is Talking about tithes and offering..its True and biblical when u give God and obey the word of God ,it comes back more in your life beyond u can never imagine
I dont know if this comes under financial advice, but one thing I have heard time and again from several people, is that gratitude is a major component of happiness. There are a lot of people (even ones that I myself have encountered) who seem to do one thing better than anything else: complain. I truly believe that if there were more people who were grateful for all they have, have been given, and worked for, there would be more genuine satisfaction and contentment in our lives.
Most important advice; Live below your means, Invest a good percentage of your money in something as lucrative as foreign exchange but of course be well informed about where you want to put your money. Made my first million this way earlier this year (through the help of a pro though). This purposeless admin has got nothing on me
good advice thanks
Hey guys! Just wanted to let you know that my new book, Things That Matter, is finally here. I put my heart into it, and I can’t wait to share it with you. You can pick up a copy at https://www.penguinrandomhouse.com/books/676394/things-that-matter-by-joshua-becker/
Bought car on bank loan and my life turned upside down that very day.
24/04/22 Brilliant advice Joshua. Thanks for keeping these videos on your channel.
I recommend using only a 15 year mortgage, then paying 1 extra pain a year. If this loan payment seems too high it means you are borrowing too much.
May you live in financial peace.
I invested in wrong place. All the hard earn earning gone
Thank you, Joshua! I get so much wisdom from you, not only on minimalism, but in many areas of life!
Never take a job just for the money.
This is what I did, I bought my car with part cash and credit card, I paid $4,000 all together. I paid $1500 cash and the rest I put on a credit card and paid it off in 6 months, I did $400 each month. It is a lot, but I paid it off fast and I still have the same car 7 years now.
0:35 Overspending on house, car, and entertainment
1:20 Live on one income, save all other income sources
2:31 Buy your car in cash
3:21 Set out a Spending Plan
4:14 Pay off your mortgage early
4:57 Never take a job just for the money
5:38 Never too poor to give
We paid off our second (15 year) mortgage in less than 8 years! We saved soooo much in interest 🥳
A budget is by far better than a spending plan. Other than that I love your videos and have learned so much valuable advice. Thank you so much.
My daddy would say" If we can't pay as we go then we just don't go."
Thank you!
Your family has fantastic experience!
This is my favorite video I’ve ever viewed on your channel. So much wisdom packed into this short video. I have an eighteen year old who needs to hear this. Thank you for sharing!
Quite frankly, if you give money to churches and charities, that have CEO's, your a fool. Those institutions are loaded, at your expense.
