SANDBOX AND CHAINLINK!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hey Tyler, been watching you for years. Would love to get your take on kaspa, the best performing coin over the bear market. Just like chainlink in 2019, while everyone else was being dumped, it has been heavily accumulated. Please do a deep dive or a quick take. Thanks!
I've been waiting for the narrative to start turning towards entertainment and disrupting the advertising industry and subscription models. There's got to be a way for content creators to self monetize and break free of platform dependence and ad-based revenue. Idk if "decentralized social" is quite what I mean. Stake-based subscription models seem inevitable but tbh it's maybe too early for it this cycle since other narratives like gaming and AI are already building momentum. I'm accumulating ACS since it's the only project I've found so far that's trying to do this, hopefully I'm not throwing my money in a hole but lbr it wouldn't be the first time 😅🤞60M market cap, go big or go home i guess
GALA has just insane inflation. GALA nodes just splooge GALA tokens out on the daily.
Cornucopias will do well this cycle
What is your opinion about Axie Infinity, AXS and RON
What's your thoughts about Seedify…?
AVAX and SAND are my gaming plays this cycle. I dont xare to get more degen than that
IMO Gaming/Games Developer is one of the big narratives in the upcoming bullmarket. Just look at the gains some of these coins have made during a full blown bear market. For example look at Nakamoto Games, Starlink, Gamee…. especially Nakamoto Games… it made a 25x from Nov 2022 to Nov 2023!!! When you look around in the gaming sector of crypto, you can get the impression that the bullrun has already started a year ago…
I think Ai coins are gonna pop
Please do a follow up after you hear back! Gang gang 🙌
Not gaming but SingularityNet seems like one of the few ways to invest in AI other than Google or Microsoft.
Gamming =LINK
I'm scared I don't have enough Bitcoin. Please help 😢
The one to watch out for this November is $MBLK which is about to be listed. So excited for this token especially after 3 year’s developing Legends of Bezogia the team at Zogi Labs should be proud. They have shown the crypto space that even in a bear market they carried on building and never gave up. They broke past the walls and are creating something totally unique and never seen before. So excited for this project in 2023. #Web3 #DGaaS #LegendsOfBezogia
This is my time to give you something back brother! I haven't held bitcoin in years, but I've been watching you since last cycle as one of the people I watch to keep an eye on the overall trends in the market. My main focus is alts, and in particular gaming tokens. It treated me good last cycle, and this cycle I'm getting ready to bust like I've never busted.
Alex Becker just put out a video that, if you haven't seen it, is a great primer on crypto gaming tokens and degening in the sector. I'll assume you have that for context. HOWEVER, he's clearly holding his cards closer to his chest there. He's giving a way of approaching this sector, rather than specific coins. The coins he mentions are mostly ones that went during the last cycle. Though some are still looking well places (IMX, for example). One of my biggest takeaways from his thesis is: We're here for a good time, not a long time. Who knows what the big hits will be. Who cares. Get in on some games because, when one game goes, they'll all go. More importantly, get in on infrastructure and other industry level stuff that will be used across games.
I'm focused on Ethereum L2s because it's what I know best. Arbitrum. Optimism. Base. zkSync. Base in particular, because Coinbase is so retail friendly, should be one to keep an eye on projects on. Sure, Solana is fast blah blah. It can scale faster in the near term, but the wider Ethereum ecosystem is maturing and L2s can really move some juice now. Nevermind that there's maybe an ETH ETF on the horizon. Liquidity. Yum. Where does it flow first? Other places on Ethereum. Bear in mind as well that Base doesn't have its own token. Fees are paid in ETH.
Ok, I'm just gonna throw some junk at you. Not financial advice. I'm literally in my underpants picking lint out of my gooch.
TOPIA / Hytopia. This is my highest conviction play. You can get the token on Ethereum, but they're building their own sidechain. They have a longer history (used to be called NFT Worlds), but where they're at today is they're trying to catch the Minecraft market. Ok, you say, that's dumb. Microsoft owns that and they're not gonna budge. Shh. Eat you cereal. Microsoft has been dumping on the Minecraft modding and server scene. If you've known Minecraft since the OG days you know that this is what built the game. But now Minecraft is getting all antsy about people monetising servers, and is trying to lock down the client and make modding harder so they can push mods etc through their own monetisation. Enter Hytopia. What if someone just remade Minecraft (the most cloned game ever probably), but focused on enabling modders and server owners to monetise what they do. Thought of this way, the game becomes its own platform. But one with parameters millions of people are already familiar with. Think Roblox and how they milk child labour to make games on their platform. With Hytopia, we're the children. And we're milking ourselves now. But, ok, this is a nice idea, but will it catch on? Early days. Alpha as hell (all this junk is). BUT, they've been not just developing a game, but doing everything they can to romance the disaffected sectors of the Minecraft community. Going so far as to make the Hytopia client backwards compatible with Minecraft servers. Some Minecraft server operator wants to move to Hytopia? I'm not completely clued up on the tech, but the claim is that it's as easy and painless as possible. Speculative. Who knows how it'll pan out. Whatever. But, honestly, this looks to me like a much more likely to work bet than a random single game. Hytopia is aiming to even go way beyond the modding capabilities which Minecraft has. Want a custom UI on your server? Can't do that on Minecraft, but they're building that functionality out for Hytopia right now. Minecraft has custom servers for jumping games for whatever. The goal of Hytopia is to be able to run community made World of Warcraft, or whatever else people can dream of. Even the best game devs will miss most of the time. But give the community the tools to make its own content? Yes mummy. Milk me. They're also building out an NFT market, I think. I don't know. I don't even work here. TOPIA has been on a decent run last few months, but it hasn't moved too much more recently. It's still really under the radar. Maybe others are seeing flaws I'm not, but honestly I can't see a better looking crypto game in the making than this. Iluvium looks like it'd be good for a week. Hytopia could be a source of new games for years to come.
MAGIC. Treasure DAO's coin. They're building an ecosystem of games on Arbitrum. Aim is for multiple games to use MAGIC. One game might do alright, then it dies. That makes tokens tied to a game riskier. But a token that's used across multiple games? Well that might keep you creaming longer. There's an episode of Bankless podcast from a few months ago with the Treasure team. Worth a listen for their vision, and some insight on gaming on Arbitrum in general.
A dirty little cutie I've been eyeing up from across the bar for a long time now is MBS. They've had some recent rebranding which I wasn't a fan, but their game, now called UNKJD: Striker League, is a mobile strategy game, halfway between chess and soccer. Aiming at a competitive, competition focused gameplay, casual yet esports leaning. You can play the alpha and, while it could explain the mechanics to you a bit better, it looks like they're playing with something interest. The game started on Solana, but it's now on Base as well. This is a dirty, dirty little gutter coin. $3mil mkcap last I looked But the team has been building through the bear market and around for a while. It's had a mega pump recently, I suspect from Solana degens rotating their gains. I forget how long, but I don't think the game is too far from going live. This is proper moonbags stuff.
MYRIA. Another games ecosystem sort of approach. But small. So if GALA goes again people will probably dump into MYRIA. It's been popping recently.
You could also just go for the tokens of L2s themselves. I've been avoiding mentioning coins Becker mentioned, but recently I've been really thinking I should be more exposed to IMX. Partnership with Ubisoft. They're basically forming a cartel with Polygon, since both of them have the majority (I think) of crypto games on their chains, so they've partnered to corner the market. The literal definition of a cartel but, heck: good time, not long time.
Not gaming, but also check out LSDfi. Staking is getting more important to more chains. Ethereum the big one obviously. If we see an ETH ETF, you think the institutions aren't gonna stake the ETH they custody and get those sweet yields? But, oh no, your coins are staked, you can't do anything with them!? Enter LSDfi. Liquid Staking Derivatives. You stake your ETH, you get a token representing that, oh, hey, you can go do degen stuff with that now. Liquid because that's what will be soaking into your socks if there's a flywheel of institutional adoption and degeneracy. All very stupid, and probably has the capacity to blow up worse than 2008. But here we are. I don't know this space as well, but I've been following TENET. It's a LayerZero project which recently spun up its own chain to help do fancy financial stuff I more or less understand (I lied) with LSD tokens. They're aiming to create a stablecoin which is backed by LSD tokens, fitting into LayerZero's broader vision of the "omnichain". Basically, we have too many chains so we need to connect them (liquidity, easier transfers, smart contract execution, blah blah). It's been a quiet one bubbling away, and they keep getting partnerships with things that sound important if I understood them. The level at which I understand this narrative is that, if the institutions are in fact coming, they will want to get in on staking (especially ETH) because they love yields. The institutions also love fancy financial mechanisms that let them do degen stuff on top. Liquid staking looks like it can be a part of that. Lots of people thinking that LayerZero is this giant about to wake up. TENET will be a part of that. Playing around with it you might also be eligible for this ZRO airdrop that lots of people seem to think is about to happen, but also might never happen.

no one talks about Vtho and vechain. This is where i making most for my gains.
Kaspa $KAS is one of the strongest coins of entire bear market. New ATH's every 6 months at minimum. 8 years of development. Founded upon principles of Bitcoin. L1 proof of work. Solved blockchain trillema. Blue chip in the making. Worth an allocation in every portfolio.
Along the lines of gaming, $THETA is a coin worth an hour of your time and research. Current CDN infrastructure won't be able to support the bandwidth needs for these video games (think spinning loading wheel), which Theta decentralized to remove the bottleneck issue. Hard to explain – worth looking into. It's an obvious real world use case and what I'm most certain about other than bitcoin and some of the other major alts like Ethereum.
im about to watch this video, and if you dont mention WAX, I will be very disappointed.
edit: tsk, tsk. DYOR into founders, active user data. I chose this chain after doing much research into where to build my mmorpg. Ive been coding since 1997. While most games on there are worthless miner clickers, the tech can do more. 0.5 second block time.
Hey Tyler, appreciate the different style video. I fully get the gaming & crypto perspective, I just have a hard time investing in a single game/project. Along the AVAX route, I like the idea of supporting the underlying layer for games which brings me to the internet computer. I would be very interested to hear your thoughts if you decide to look into it. I've tracked and used ICP since the blockchain came on in 2021 and I feel that seldom projects have advanced as much as they have (perhaps Chainlink has done more still). My favorite differentiator for ICP is that it fills a decentralized internet and supporting network role plus it's not in direct competition with ETH or BTC. ETH does have some underlying centralization with ~25% of the network utilizing amazon web services for hosting their nodes so ICP could aid ETH in better decentralization. I know that ICP itself does have much more to go to be fully decentralized but they continue to build at an impressive rate. I know I've talked alot about the tech and not the coin… They had a dramatic dump which has many theories behind it (early investor pump/dump or more nefarious price manipulation). At the lows they are at, I'm not sure what happened matters given the continued work the team puts in and the upside potential imo.
I believe the NFT hype dies this next run, and fuels the gaming side of crypto!
Go watch out for $HILO the real performers was onchain and it will be even bigger since their launches are way better in terms of fairness & tokenomics too, don’t focus on cex like it was in past cycles. You will see, after two cycles I know this will happen
The intro was so good. Lmao 🤣
